The Artist
Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and receiving his early training in art at the Meinzinger School
of Art in Detroit, Michigan. Larry is one of Tennessee's most respected and talented artists, known for over thirty-five years in this area and
across the United States for his beautiful watercolors, Worlds Fair posters, and his series of Smoky Mountain posters.
He is listed in "Renowned Artists 1982-83"; "Men of Achievement 1993-94"; and many other publications. The walls of his studio in Sevier County are
graced with over two hundred awards and ribbons for recognition of his professional fine art. Many of these awards were received from some of the
nation's largest industries.
Many of Larry's forty-five prints and posters are sold out or consist of very low inventory. Whether it be the icy silence of a snow-coated barn, or the
green of a laurel cove, comparing its spring beauty with that of a multi-colored autumn, Larry Burton's creations are sure to compliment and reflect beauty
to your home or office.
